PART-TIME TRUSTS AND FOUNDATIONS FUNDRAISING OFFICER (FTC)
We are delighted to be working with bibic, a small charity with a BIG job to do. 7% of children living in the UK having a disability and only 1 in 13 receive regular support from their local authority. bibic plays an important part in supporting children with neurological and genetic conditions that cause developmental difficulties and affect their social, physical, communication and learning abilities. These conditions include cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, autism, ADHD, dyslexia and more, as well as children with no diagnosis. bibic therapists are able to provide these children and their families with therapies and strategies that help them to overcome the difficulties they face.
This new role will focus on researching smaller grants and trusts that may be available and relevant to their work and preparing and submitting impactful and successful applications. You will be able to demonstrate previous success in this area of fundraising and ideally will have worked for an organisation serving the needs of vulnerable children or adults. You will be comfortable working to fundraising targets as set down in the budget and able to submit timely and appropriate written reports to funders.
We are looking for someone who has the drive, motivation and determination to succeed, who is able to prioritise and organise their own workload effectively. You will need to be able to drive and have access to a car. This role will be based at the Charity’s offices with the possibility of some working from home.
Terms and conditions:
- Salary: £25,000 to £26,000 fulltime salary pro rata per annum
- Holiday: 23 days holiday pro rata per annum including the mandatory shutdown over the Christmas period of 3 days, plus public holidays.
- Hours: 22.5 hours per week
- Contract: 12 months fixed term
- Probationary period: 6 months
- Initially a fixed term contract with the possibility for an extension to the contract depending upon the applicant’s performance, the Charity’s budget.
