Do you want to work for a charity that is transforming children’s lives every day?
All of our current vacancies will be advertised on this page. Please do not send in your CV if there are no roles advertised – we do not have the resources to reply and we are sure you would rather we spent these vital funds on working directly with the children.
Part-time Trusts & Grants Fundraising Officer
We are delighted to be advertising for a second Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer to join us here at bibic, a small charity with a BIG job to do. 7% of children living in the UK having a disability and only 1 in 13 receive regular support from their local authority. bibic plays an important part in supporting children with neurological and genetic conditions that cause developmental difficulties and affect their social, physical, communication and learning abilities. These conditions include cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, autism, ADHD, dyslexia and more, as well as children with no diagnosis. bibic therapists are able to provide these children and their families with therapies and strategies that help them to overcome the difficulties they face.
This role will focus on researching grants and trusts in excess of £10,000 that are available and relevant to our work. You will be preparing and submitting impactful and successful applications. You will be able to demonstrate previous success in this area of fundraising and ideally will have worked for an organisation serving the needs of vulnerable children or adults. You will be comfortable working to fundraising targets as set down in the budget and able to submit timely and appropriate written reports to funders.
We are looking for someone who has the drive, motivation and determination to succeed, who is able to prioritise and organise their own workload effectively. You will need to be able to drive and have access to a car. This role will be based at the Charity’s offices with the possibility of some working from home.
Please submit applications to Lynda.firstname.lastname@example.org by 12 noon on the Thursday 28th September 2017. Please note CV’s will not be accepted.
