Fun at the Royal Bath & West 2016!
The bibic fundraising team have just come back from a very exciting four days at the Bath and West Show 2016.
It was really enjoyable meeting lots of new people, telling them all about the children we support. We also heard from families about children that have visited bibic in the past and are now achieving brilliant things, as well as speaking to families we could help in the future.
Barry the bibic bear made lots of new friends high fiving and saying hello to children attending the show. Lots of children took part in our football goal competition and won a scented bouncy ball but only one little boy scored 3 out of 3!
Bridgwater College designed a beautiful pop up garden for the horticultural village at the show to help raise awareness for bibic and the use of sensory gardens. With plants donated from Kelways Garden Centre, the college’s horticultural team created a sensory garden to highlight the use of plants and materials to stimulate your senses. It was a huge success and won the silver gilt award in the People’s Choice Vote.
Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who helped throughout the weekend, and to Bridgwater College and Kelways for the amazing garden.
We look forward to attending again next year!
