Get your ‘Footballathon’ boots on for bibic – NOW!

Get your ‘Footballathon’ boots on now and support Langport based children’s charity bibic.  In partnership with Yeovil Town Football Club the Footballathon, to be held on Friday 28 September, will raise vital funds to support children and young people with physical and developmental disabilities.

We are calling for football teams of all ages and abilities to take part in this first ever 12-hour Footballathon.

The football frenzy will kick off at 8.00am at Yeovil Town’s Huish Park Stadium and be played out in 30-minute games throughout the day.

YTFC’s first-team squad member, Sessi D’Almeida, will be getting involved on the pitch as will players from the club’s Academy. The Jolly Green Giant and bibic bear may also even make an appearance!

Teams can register for £10 on bibic’s website (www.bibic.org.uk/get-involved/footballathon) – and you can choose a preferred time slot to play.  We are encouraging teams to raise sponsorship to support this very worthy cause.

Fantastic prizes will be up for grabs for teams and individual players with special awards for Top Scorer, Most Comical Moment and Overall Winning Team and to those who raise the most sponsorship money.  In addition, there will be lots of other activities on the day to keep everyone entertained.

To make a donation, please visit www.bibic.org.uk or the Footballathon JustGiving page.

– Sign up now and have a great day out – playing football!
