Emma Clarke
(Em-uh Klark)

Developmental Therapist

Having worked in Education for twenty years and had the opportunity to work alongside and get to know some amazing children, young people and their families I have now joined bibic as a Developmental Therapist.

From March 2023 I have also taken on the responsibility of Student Placement Lead, which means that I have the privilege of working alongside schools, colleges and other education providers giving those who are interested in what we do the chance to come along and experience life here at bibic for themselves. It is my hope that one day they may return as staff members!

Having spent many years working with children with additional needs, I believe that everyone has the right to be supported and nurtured in a way that enables them to thrive and succeed to the best of their ability.

Every one of us is different, the world would be a very boring place if we were all the same! It is my pleasure to help others to explore and find ways which work for them to enable them to enjoy life.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, can often be found rummaging in antique shops or with my head in a good book and if I can’t be found in any of these I will be in my happy place, by the sea!
