Armed Forces Covenant

The signing ceremony was held at the RNAS Yeovilton base and bibic has shown its commitment and support for the Armed Forces Community.

bibic is proud to announce that it has signed the Armed Forces Covenant.

What is the Covenant?

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.

The covenant focuses on helping members of the armed forces community have the same access to government and commercial services and products as any other citizen.

This support is provided in a number of areas including: education and family well-being, having a home, starting a new career, access to healthcare, financial assistance and discounted services

Who is involved?

The covenant supports serving personnel, service leavers, veterans, and their families. And is fulfilled by the different groups that have committed to making a difference.

These include: Central government, overseen by the Ministerial Covenant and Veterans Board , Single services (Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force), Businesses of all sizes, Local government, Communities, Cadet forces and their adult volunteers and Charities.

bibic firmly believes that it can help through it’s services and it’s numerous volunteering opportunities. The children’s charity unanimously supports the scheme including Trustees, Management team, Therapists, fundraising, administration and volunteers.

We are happy to share our covenant 191212-bibic-CoSigned (002)

bibic will work hard to meet the objectives as laid out in the covenant and would welcome any like minded businesses and community groups who want to help us achieve them.

As part of it’s commitment bibic will give serving personnel and veterans 10% off all it’s services. All that is needed at the time of booking is a service number.

Please contact Andy Hirst on 01458 253344 or andrew.hirst@bibic.org.uk to chat about how we might work together or even to ask us about how you could also go about signing the Covenant.
