I am a qualified teacher, SENCO and Specialist Assessor. I have taught in nursery, primary and secondary mainstream and special schools, most recently working as a Specialist Advisory Teacher for a Local Authority. Over my time I have assessed need and designed teaching programmes; supported schools with their SEND strategy; provided advice on particular groups e.g., Children who are Looked After, EAL; held solution focussed meetings with parents/carers and school to identify goals and next steps.
