Through Policy Changes and Uncertainty

News of EHCP reforms has understandably caused anxiety for families whose children rely on these plans for support in mainstream education.

At bibic, we’ve supported families through more than five decades of policy changes, funding reforms, and shifting SEND landscapes. One thing has always remained the same: our commitment to the children, young people, adults* and families who need us.

While EHCPs may be under review, the needs of neurodiverse individuals are not. They still require practical strategies, therapeutic support, and families still need guidance and reassurance.

CEO, Pip Buckley said:

“Over 50 years, we’ve seen many changes to how SEND support is structured and delivered. What we’ve learned is that families need consistency. They need to know someone will be there to help, whatever the system looks like. That’s bibic’s role – and it always will be.”

Whether reforms narrow EHCPs, restructure them, or introduce new frameworks, bibic’s personalised approach ensures every family receives support tailored to their child’s unique needs.
