Developmental Therapist

As a young adult, I felt that my vocation in life was to become a teacher and having loved learning languages, I started my career as a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher in Scotland. When I moved to the South of England, I realised that what I particularly enjoyed about my job was knowing that I was having an impact on the development of children and so I began working in the Early Years at a Nursery in Oxford. I loved watching the children discovering and learning new things every day, knowing that the activities and opportunities I was helping to provide, were playing a key role in all aspects of their development. Fast forward 12 years, where I continued my time in the Early Years as a Deputy Manager in a local Pre-school and worked as a private nanny to several families, I am here, beginning what I hope is a long career as a Developmental Therapist. I am so passionate about supporting children and young adults to feel that they belong, to feel fulfilled in all that they do, and I am delighted to be a small part of the transformative work that bibic do.

When not working, I still love to learn new languages, spending time with family and friends and getting out and about in the South West, as well as returning to Scotland as often as I can.
