Chelsey Oxley

Head of Therapy and Business Development

I have worked with children and young people with behavioural difficulties for 16 years in various roles. I am a Registered Qualified Test User and have membership with the BPS (British Psychological Society). My degrees are in childcare and education and I completed my Forensic Psychology Masters in 2022. My specialism is extreme behaviours and supporting those who are misunderstood, I take this as my passion in life helping as many children and young people as I can to get the best support, to be more understood and to stand the best chance in life.

I started out in bibic as a Developmental therapist progressing to Therapy Manager and now being appointed the Head of Therapy and Business Development. I have just completed my course ILM Award in Leadership/Management – HR and Coaching, I will then be a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management. I am very excited for this new chapter so I can help bibic grow, reach more families and design services specifically to fill gaps and provide as much support as bibic possibly can. When I started at bibic I designed the training that we deliver to our therapists and now to parents and professionals. Now I want to design training specifically for different sectors helping and reaching more, children, young people, families and professionals.

Hobbies – outside of my day to day job I work alongside a local artist, supporting on workshops and just generally being very creative, I love crafting, socialising spending quality time with my family and friends and going to the theatre. I have a rescue dog whom is very needy, and I love going on long walks with her.
