Pip Buckley

CEO

I have worked in senior management both in the Public and Charity Sector for 17 years. I studied Criminology at University and worked in the Probation Service managing group work programmes across London for many years.

After leaving Probation I worked for a national charity delivering mentoring programmes for adults on Probation and leaving prison in and around Greater London. In 2015 I moved into the prison service managing three ‘Through the Gate Services’ in the South West until the Summer of 2018 when I decided to look for something new and applied to work for bibic as Operations and Development Manager. I was able to transfer my skills to the excellent work we do at bibic. In June 2019 I accepted the role of Managing Director and haven’t looked back. Now moving into 2023 and beyond, with the role of CEO I couldn’t be more proud to lead this amazing charity. We have developed considerably over the last few years and have gone from strength to strength. Our wonderful team is growing and are all passionate about meeting our charitable mission to support children and young adults across the UK.

I have specialised in anger management whilst working with offending behaviour as a practitioner and I’m passionate about understanding behaviour. My specialisms are operations, coaching, training and development, innovation and project management. I truly believe that everyone can thrive in the right environment with the right support. I have a warm, open and engaging style and love to get the best out of everyone I work with. I have recently joined the Institute of Leadership and Management, and am also a member of ACEVO and the NCVO.

Hobbies – Outside of work my main passions are musical theatre, playing the piano, travel, good food and wine and spending quality time with family and friends. I also love spending time with my 7 year old rescue Bulldog BeBe and my crazy cat Pumpkin!
