Abi Foot
(Ab-ee Foot)
Developmental Therapist
Before joining bibic, I completed my Bachelor of Education (Bed) degree as a primary school teacher at the University of Plymouth, graduating in 2011. I then taught across multiple age groups ranging from Reception all the way up to Year 6.
During my time teaching, I had the privilege of working with many children from different backgrounds and abilities. My role as a teacher also gave me the opportunity to work with families to support children who had additional needs.
I then took a break from teaching however knew that I wanted to continue working with children. I took up the role of Assistant Area Manager at an organisation which runs after school science clubs for primary children. This was an amazingly, fun opportunity as I was able to experiment with many different things – making slime, exploding tubs, making a coke bottle fly, and making my own sherbet!
I joined bibic in December 2023 and I am overjoyed to be returning to working with and supporting children, young adults and families. I believe that all individuals can achieve, provided that they are given the right support.
When I am not working at bibic, I can be found at home with my husband and little boy. My hobbies include cooking, reading and finding a good box set to immerse myself in.
