Not everyone is back to school

bibic: transforming the lives of children and young adults with neurodiversities so they can thrive in education.

Not every young person is able to successfully transition back to school after the holidays. We are raising awareness of the challenges faced by individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in accessing education in the United Kingdom. There are over 1.6 million pupils in England classed as having special educational needs, and a worrying number of these children are missing from education entirely, 117,000 children were missing from education at any time in 2022/23 and 35% of pupils with an EHCP are classed as being persistently absent.

Our mission is to transform more lives by delivering bespoke therapy and assessment services, catering to every child’s unique educational needs.

At bibic, we believe that every child and young person deserves the chance to thrive. Our “Not everyone is Back to School” campaign is a powerful movement shining a light on the families desperately seeking the right support for their child within education. The campaign is being supported by JCDecaux Community Channel. The campaign is running on JCDecaux UK digital Out-of-Home screens, to help spread awareness of the work that bibic do to support individuals living with neurological and developmental difficulties and disabilities. Have a look at our interactive map to see the locations of our incredible campaign boards below.

Tag us on our socials using the hashtag #bibicnotbacktoschool if you spot our campaign and we will add you to our map to be in with a chance of winning a prize!

We provide therapies, resources, expert advice, and a supportive community, giving vital support to families across the whole of the UK. Together, we transform the lives of those who need us.

As we head into the festive season, join us in building a world where every child can develop and succeed as we help unlock abilities, foster independence, and most importantly, help to enable them to access the education they truly deserve.

How success looks at bibic;

It’s what I’ve been needing and hoping for so long yet no one else has been able to provide it. I can’t recommend bibic highly enough and just wish every child could have this wonderful experience and support. It will certainly be life changing.

bibic is so extraordinary and in my experience is very rare and I feel very lucky to have been able to take my child to you for support.

We need your support!

Every contribution makes a difference! As our charity relies on donations and does not receive any government funding, we depend on generous supporters, like you, to help us raise essential funds. Your support enables us to assist more families who are in urgent need of our help.
