Mia Knight
(Mee-Uh Nite)

Developmental Therapist

I joined bibic in January 2025 as a Developmental Therapist, bringing with me my experience and passion for supporting children and families. Prior to this, I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a qualification in Post Compulsory Education and Training (PCET). I have had the pleasure of teaching a diverse range of students (Reception through to A-Level) as a Textiles teacher and Primary school teacher.

Having previously spent time volunteering with the Therapy Team and Fundraising and Marketing Team, I quickly decided that I wanted to join bibic in a more direct role. I’m excited to work closely with the families who visit bibic, to help provide the support and guidance they need to navigate challenges and to celebrate their progress.

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors and exploring new places with my partner and our rescue dog. I love walking and hiking, especially if there is a good coffee stop on the way! I also enjoy cooking, sewing, and reading.
